Storia

La località era un piccolo borgo agricolo di antica origine del mwggContado di Cremona con 105 abitanti a metà Settecento.

In mwhaetà napoleonica, dal mwhq1809 al mwhg1816, Licengo fu frazione di mwhwCortetano, recuperando l'autonomia con la costituzione del mwiaRegno Lombardo-Veneto.

All'mwigunità d'Italia nel mwiw1861, il comune contava 247 abitanti.

Nel mwjq1868 il comune di Licengo venne aggregato al comune di mwjgCastelverde.cite-ref-2[2]
